So, about a month or two ago, i found out that my best friends little sister (who is like my little sister), has seizures and has something along the lines of epilepsy. Ever since i found that out, things that dont normally happen to me, keep happening. In May of this year i went to a concert with some friends, and i didnt even get to see the person that i actually really wanted to see because i passed out and my friend had to carry me outside. And fyi, i have NEVER passed out before in my life. Then, about a week or two ago, my friend offered me this spice and salvia mix, and i thought, why not smoke it? so i did, next thing i knew i couldnt see very well, my heart was racing, and there were black dots everywhere in my vision, and i kind of had tunnel vision. I thought i had passed out, but when i asked my friends about it they said i was convulsing and my eyes were rolling back in my head, as if i were having a seizure. So this really scared me and i have no clue what to do about it, or what is even happening to me. I would really like to figure this out though, so i dont put myself in a potentially harmful situation. So, if anyone has an idea of what could be going on, or any advice for what i should do, PLEASE let me know.

I don't know if anyone is like this, but I'm so ultra sensitive that I do not want to have friends and this appears to others that I don't care about anybody. The reason I don't want friends is because I know I'll avoid them when they start talking about hard times in their lives and feelings of sadness. This is not because I don't care about them and I don't want to help them, but because this will make me so affected that their own misfortunes would attach themselves to me and I'll probably feel even worse than them; of course avoiding them at these times would make me look cold-hearted. In reality, I love helping and donating to people at the impersonal level. Also, whenever I'm watching a sad movie with someone, I can feel myself about to cry as my shoulders start to shake when I try to hold it in. Sometimes when I do this, I need to laugh to relieve myself because I know if I let tears come down, they won't stop. If a third party would observe this, it'll look like I'm laughing at the sad situation in the movie. To make my sensitivity even more apparent, I sometimes feel like weeping when I peruse online debating boards and I see people call each other names and be cruel to each other. When I refuse to partake in these kind of conversations, I suppose it'll seem like I couldn't care less, but really, I would be running away in fear of getting hurt myself while viewing others being verbally abused. On all pregnancy test \you can see both lines without the color before you take them. The color is an indicator if there is no color then nothing to indicate. It is still very early to tell though. If your periods are very regular then you would have been ovulating around the 6th. If you breastfeed regularly, every four hours, then you should be ok. This is not a very effective form of BC but it does help some. My periods always did different things after each of my children so cramps might just be one of those changes. Honestly, the only thing you can do at this point is wait. I know that sucks but its too early for a test to show positive. The more you stress about the more you will drive yourself crazy. my son was born at 8 pounds 14 ounces, he only lost 3 ounces by the time he was discharged form the hospital. He is almost four months old and now weighs 19 pounds, he eats 6 oz of formula every 3 hours. Is this unhealthy or abnormal? is there anything that I should be concerned about? my pediatrition didnt tell me anything other than for a baby his size there is no problem feeding him that much as long as he keeps it all down... he is also very advanced development wise, he can sit up practically unsupported, roll over from his back to tummy and from tummy to back, he has amazing head control, he can reach for and grab at toys as well as grab his pacifier and he has the coordination to place objects in his mouth and pass from one hand to the other. he also is constantly "talking" and laughing, and playing games with us. And he also already has his two front bottom teeth in already. Someone told me that babies are not supposed to be that well developed for being that young, which makes me really worried. Someone else told me that those are all signs of autism... Should I be worried, or are these people just really un-educated (I'm a first time mother, so I have noooo clue what to believe and what not to!)

A question about a hysteroscopy?

I am 51. My periods stopped a year ago, but in January I had a period so got checked out. The doctor said I had an enlarged uterus and sent me for a scan. The radiologist said there were no fibroids, but the womb lining was enlarged. There was a strange puckering to my womb, and seemed surprised I hadnt had a blood test. I am now booked in for a hysteroscopy. It has now been 2 months since I was diagnosed as having an enlarged uterus, and waiting for the hysteroscopy is making me really worried. I have zero energy, and sleep a lot, and have a pain in my lower back (right) but only when I sit in a soft chair (i.e. when my spine is curved). I realise it may be cancer....but of what....ovarian, womb or what? And if not, what may be causing these symptoms?

i noticed you don't have any answers yet so i will try my best to help. i havnt heard of this street fighting thing but i do know alot about taekwondo, mma, karate, and juijitsue. i highly recommend checking out different schools near you and studying how they work. watch how they teach and what they teach, because your very right you cannot just limit your self to only kicks or only hand to hand combat if you want the advantage in a fight. you have to be prepared for ANY situation at ANY given time. i know alot of taekwondo places focus on kicks but in my school we do alot of punching and hand techniques. just remember that all schools are different so dont judge a style of martial arts just by watching a school or two. Where should I take a friend hiking in Colorado?

have a friend who moved here from Florida a little over a month ago. He's very athletic and wants to do some hiking this summer, including a few 14ers. I've climbed two 14ers, Mt. Bierstadt and Mt. Princeton, and would like to do a few more Class 1 & 2 climbs with him this summer. What would be some good hikes to take my friend on to help him prepare for climbing a 14er? My grandson and his parents-should I just butt out?

My grandson will be 2 in mid-July. My son and daughter-in-law do not live close to us so we see them 3-4 times a year. This past week they came home for an important family gathering and I am disturbed at my grandsons progress or lack of as far as communication. My son and his wife are WONDERFUL parents, but I am wondering if they are too doting. My grandson points and they jump-- he throws temper tantrums when he doesn't get his own way and they do nothing about it. He speaks very little although I know he can as when it is just him and I-he will talk up a storm. My husband and I babysat one night while they went out with some friends and it took me a while, but we finally had him running around-playing and rolling around outside. He was having a ball. He got dirty like I have never seen him (which is really not allowed by my DIL at all) and went to bed without issue and slept all night long. They picked him up in the morning and he was winey and moody all over again. They live in a very warm area, where it gets pretty miserable outside--so they stay in the house alot. They watch tv quite a bit and since they work alot (she a restaurant manager and he owns his own consturction company), he is at the sitters alot of the time. He is as smart as a whip--I do not believe for one minute he isn't able to do all the things a 2 year old should do, he just doesnt' when his parents are around and they don't make him. They have just entered him into a new daycare/nursery school that I think will benefit him greatly--playing with other kids and having to speak etc. I wish he lived closer so he could spend more time with us (we live on a farm and he LOVES the animals) but that is not possible. The stories I hear from my DIL about her upbringing, her parents were very, very strict, bordering on cruel (opne side of the story I know) my son was disciplined and to be honest once he got past about 7-8 years, I hardly ever had to discipline him, he had a good solid basis of right and wrong. They are both loving parents and I know they believe they are doing the right thing and only want whats best but sometimes I think they are too laid back with him. So do I keep my mouth shut or do I say something to my son/DIL? The not discipling is the part that really concerns me. They have to have a good solid base or they get out of hand as they get older.

I need help getting over a plateau!?

so i started a losing weight the "healthy" way about 5 months ago and i was 140lbs. now i am at 123lbs and have tried every diet out there. my plateau used to be at 130 and i managed to get over it when i was going on a 1200 calorie diet. however, i do not go that low anymore as my metabolism slowed greatly. i have tried the gm diet, the skinny bit** diet, being anorexic, and am now on a zig zag diet where one day i will eat 1600 calories and the next two i will only eat 1200. it doesnt matter how much or how little i eat, i am always the same when the next week rolls around! i am currently lifting weights and playing volleyball twice a week and the other three days i walk about a mile. i am already quite muscular so i do not think i want anymore as i am trying to become a model. i eat healthy and whenever i have a treat i have a small bowl of frosted flakes because they are my favorite :) i only need to lose 5lbs and im in..but i really need help! i am completely against any eating disorders and still want to look healthy once i am finished. btw..i am 16 and 5'7

Wild Baby Bunnies Help!!!?

My daughter was weeding around our pool. There is a slope/bank around the pool, and when she pulled out a giant weed there was a flat surface. My quails have laid an egg and i dont know what to do any theories ?

I have had towels in the past have the band (I think this is what it's called) shrink. It makes the towel smaller in a way since the band was keeping the rectangular shape. I think this is happening in the dryer. What can I do to prevent this from happening again?

Cats butthole keeps puckering out?

My boyfriend is super sweet and kind of shy and we are both 17. I have been dating him for a month and I am his first girlfriend and also his first kiss. He is so sweet and a like him a lot, but I can tell that he gets really nervous when it comes to stuff like this. Oldsmobile Alero pwr window electrical issue wont roll up regulator including motor has been replaced already?

My 2001 Oldsmobile Alero is having electrical issues. I had my passenger power window regulator replaced this month because my window would not roll up last month. But I rolled it down today it went auto down but would not roll back up on using the driver side or passenger side switch to operate the passenger window. Turned car off for a minute then back on and tried again. Didn't roll up, waited and tried again and it rolled up. Thankfully it was not raining out. I have a friend that told me they think it's a short somewhere in the electrical wiring? Do have to rip apart that car and replace all the wiring? I'm very aggravated and I have a lot of time on my hands and very short on cash. I do not have a lot of money to take it to a dealership and no longer trust my repair shop they screwed me over a warranted AC compressor that's now defective and has not been replaced. So taking it to the shop is not an option as I do not trust repair shops. Okay. So about a month and a half ago I bought 2 grams of blue dream weed from a friend. I smoked it a few times and I loved it. So then one day I had a baseball game and i got mad at my dad who is a coach and I threatened to not go to the game if he didn't do something and he didn't so he left and I stayed home. So anyway, a few nights ago I snuck out with my friend, his girlfriend, and also a friend who is a girl. So we were on a golf course and we decided to go somewhere else so we all stood up but I was a little behind. I popped a piece if mentos gum into my mouth. I few seconds after my mouth and throat went as dry as they've ever been. I tried to scream to them but i couldn't out get anything out. I leaned over and tried to talk. One of my friends turned around and said dude are you okay. I couldn't talk still. It lasted for about 15 seconds if no breathing. I don't think that it would effect anything like that, but it might look bad while you're dancing, especially if you roll in on plie or in positions such as first and fifth. If you go see a foot doctor, they can prescribe insoles that will prevent your feet from rolling in. My friend, who (like me) is serious about dance, has the same problem. She got insoles and I have tried on her shoes... ah they are so comfortable and they will help. If you don't get those (or until) just focus on keeping all of your toes flat on the floor and make sure your not trying to turn out from your knees as this can make it worse. Always always always turn out from your hips and hip flexers. (:

A question about a hysteroscopy?

I am 51. My periods stopped a year ago, but in January I had a period so got checked out. The doctor said I had an enlarged uterus and sent me for a scan. The radiologist said there were no fibroids, but the womb lining was enlarged. There was a strange puckering to my womb, and seemed surprised I hadnt had a blood test. I am now booked in for a hysteroscopy. It has now been 2 months since I was diagnosed as having an enlarged uterus, and waiting for the hysteroscopy is making me really worried. So, about a month or two ago, i found out that my best friends little sister (who is like my little sister), has seizures and has something along the lines of epilepsy. I need some help with tension problems on my sewing machine.?

I have been sewing for over 50 years but just got a new computerized Brother machine. It has an embroidery attachment and I love it. Have already used that feature alot. But..when I try to do regular sewing the fabric puckers up. i have tried to reset the tension several different ways, removed and replaced the bobbin, changed needles etc. The stitches look ok from the top and the bottom, but everything puckers. Im asking this question again because he first time no one answered.... I'm almost 13 and I want to start playing guitar. I was looking to get a steel string flat top acoustic, but I can't get one for now due to money issues. So I'm stuck with a classic guitar. Should i worry about my swollen gum?

The past four days my gum around my back took has been very sore and swollen. i didn't feel any bumps and the tooth feels perfectly fine. It hurts when i touch it, use my cheek muscle(like when smiling too big or puckering my lips and moving it to the side), and when i touch my outside cheek. the second day of it hurting and being swollen i brushed it too hard and it started bleeding. i have been know to have a little bit of gingivitis but i am not sure if that has anything to do about it. but today it feels like a bumpish thing under my jaw that is sore when i touch underneath it, like a swollen gland or something. i just don't know if it is worth worryingabout and just go away. if so how can i help it feel better. i dont really want to have to go to th e dentist.

Idk if it's because of the time that you had, but this is a really rough paper. you have a lot of well thought out background information to support your statements, in what I gleaned from a quick sweep of it, but I can notice MANY grammatical errors. This can sometimes break a paper even more so than lack of significant examples and information. I personally do not feel like identifying them, I'm sure someone will however. Other than that you're fine :)

stop picking your lips and use a moderate amount of chapstick so he wont feel like hes kissing a french fry. pucker first then slowly open your mouth to invite him to tongue kiss you. then just follow where his tongue goes. you can suck on his bottom lip or go further when your relationship gets closer. make sure your breath is clean!! dont eat sugar milk cheese garlic onions when you hang out with him cuz u could kiss eventually lol. brush your tongue too

Im not an admissions officer and I will never pretend to be but your resume is VERY impressive, I can't say I know whether you will get in or not but you have very good chance I believe because you are SO very well rounded, seriously. My only advice is to get those SAT scores up (I got a 1930 on mine and Im pretty upset because I wanted a 2100+ but that requires hard work and study so I will have to buckle down otherwise it limits my college options) I think with you being an honors-ap student (my school doesnt have very many AP classes, only two and Im taking both next year) you should easily get above a 2000, that's what I've been told but it surely isn't "easy" haha, keep working hard and I wish you the best of luck! This song was ok when it first came out but now i absolutely hate it! This woman's screeching voice drives me crazy! I actually turn the radio off when this song comes on. So tell me is there ANYONE else out there that hates this song too? Because it seems like everyone loves this song so much.

So..yeah. A few monthes ago, my friend Sydney, asked me to hang with her friends at the park. They were 2 kids in my grade that I didn't really know, Chris, & Kayla, so we ended up all having a lot of fun and becoming good friends. Kayla ended up being on of my bestfriends. And so the next day chris started texting me, and he told me he liked me, and that I was cute, and stuff, and so then we fell in "love" or whatever. And we'd talk on the phone, and he'd sing to me with his guitar, and I fell hard for him. 2 weeks later, he asks me out. So we went out, and a week into the relationship, we meet up in the park again and we went into the forest alone. We were hugging, and i felt so much love for him. Then he asked me to kiss him, nd I've never kissed anyone, I've been waiting for the right one. And I thought he was it, so I really didn't know what to do, I kinda just puckered my lips, and he came closer with his lips, and I backed out, cause I'm stupid. And so then finally I kissed him, and it turned out horrible. I didn't like it. 3 days later, he breaks up with me. Why? Cause apparently I was a bad kisser. We stopped talking for a while. It was really upseting to me..his seat was close to mine in math. We didn't talk or anything, it was really awkward. But I felt like he'd stare at me, and creep on me. So then like a few weeks later, he texts me..and he appologized. He told me the song "now that were done" by metrostation reminded me of him. And so then we kept talking, and I guess he became my bestfriend. And yet, I never stopped loving him. But there was one thing that bothered me, everything was perfect except the fact he was a man whore, he's been through sooo many girls. And after a week or 2, he gets bored of them and just dumps them, horrible right? I'd always have to deal with him talking about how he's in love with this girl, and that girl. And it just hurt a lot cause I wished he loved me, and so I guess the good thing about being his bestfriend was that he would always break up with girls, and then just stop talking to them, but then I'd always be there. But I just wish there was a way I could make him mine forever, but it would 't work. I guess I'm just not good enough,. But anyways, we were working on a math project together at his house, and he kinda grabbed me, and started hugging me, and it was hugging like be loved me..and he told me I was adorable. And I told him I never stopped loving him. And then he told me he really wanted me to kiss him, but I said no cause I was scared what happened last time would happen again. But them I thought,**** it. Nd I made out with him. It felt really good. He said it started out sloppy, but then I got good, and he liked it a lot. Then we started making out on his bed for like 20 mins, and he felt me up, and I felt so much love for him. I would never makeout with anyone else, or even want to. He just loved what he thought we Were gonna do, and he loved making out with me, and he said sorry, and stuff and we still can be bestfriends and I told him yeah sure whatever, and my heart broke, now he's onto some other chick, and it feels like he doesn't even care, he hasn't texted me or called me in days, and even before we madeout he'd call me like everyday and text me ocasiomally and now it feels like he doesn't care he hurt me, and I'm just so upset about it. I've cried really hard, and almost cut myself, but I'm trying really hard not to. But what should I do? Should I ignore him, or just pretend I'm not hurt, or what? Looking for a new dressing for an easy switch up on pasta salad...?

My mom always made pasta salad with rotini, tomatoes, monterey cheese, peppers, green onions, maybe some leftover chicken, and any other veggies she had on hand. But then she tossed it with prepared Italian salad dressing. I HATE Italian dressing, but love the combination of the veggies and rotini. Does anyone have a dressing alternative for a salad like this? I think what I don't like is the vinegar-y taste. That's what I'm trying to avoid. See your dermatologist and ask for dermabrasion or microdermabrasion. But you can only have that done if you have completely outgrown your acne. That is what I am getting done. Other than that I have no self confidence ideas for you. I wear foundation and powder but since you have scars they will be there forever and you don't want to spend the rest of your life with them and having to cover them. Call your dermatologist.

How to parallel park?

Do you guys have any useful links? I've tried a few but they don't really work for me. Does anyone know a good site/video that easily demonstrates a nice method to parallel park? Thanks. How does the doctor know how my baby is laying or even if he's ok? 33 weeks?

So far everything has been good. My blood pressure is fine, my fundus is measuring right on schedule..ect I'm not worried because I feel him move every day and I know what's normal. I have not had an ultrasound since I was 20 weeks (they didn't tell me how he was laying) and they said they will not do another unless I have complications. They have not externally checked my stomach or pushed down, touched it to feel the baby so how will they know if he's in a bad position? How will they estimate what he weighs? I think he's facing with his back up because I feel two round har spots, one under right ribs and one down diagonal on my left. Never heard of diagonal baby??? I feel mostly rolls and squirms rather than kicks but when I do, I feel them high and low so I don't know if he's in position. They were so great in the beginning and the last couple months they don't do anything except blood pressure, weight, and measure me and tell me everything is fine...

Why do religious people say nonbelievers are blind?

I think it's really a cultural thing. Some people are surrounded by religion from birth, and the way people are raised in relation to religion can make them unable to understand others' beliefs. Not true in every case, however. Atheists and agnostis can be sensitive to one religious person's judgement, and make generalizations about all religious people. Not all believers think that about nonbelievers. I am agnostic and have plenty of religious friends- Christian, Muslim, Jewish, you name it. It's all about co-exisiting.
