Where should I take a friend hiking in Colorado?

have a friend who moved here from Florida a little over a month ago. He's very athletic and wants to do some hiking this summer, including a few 14ers. I've climbed two 14ers, Mt. Bierstadt and Mt. Princeton, and would like to do a few more Class 1 & 2 climbs with him this summer. What would be some good hikes to take my friend on to help him prepare for climbing a 14er? And what 14ers should he and I start off with? We would be looking to do some dayhikes closer to the Denver metro area, and 14ers that would be close enough to Denver that we'd be able to summit and get back down before bad weather rolls in.
